Coilstands

Livernois Engineering has been able to develop unique algorithms used for the feeding of continuous strips of material due to our experience with roll-forming applications.  The key to properly feeding the strip is the capability of the coilstand along with the feedback as to the coil consumption.

Our coilstands have been used for roll-forming systems for tubes, fins, reinforcements, and side supports.  They have also been used for stamping feeders for header and component stamping.  These machines can be developed to run efficiently with heavy payloads or light and can handle feed speeds from low to high.

Our partner company Tridan International has leveraged this capability specifically for feeders supporting coil manufacturing while Innovative Automation has developed a wide variety of systems to handle coils and feed them through a range of processes.
